	DSBS put in a team of colleagues, family and friends to support Alzheimer’s Australia WA with their memory walk at Curtin University on September 18th 2011. Many thanks to all those who attended the team's memory walk despite the dodgy weather (Mark, Kris, Sam, Michael, Elena, Samaya, Sian, Nicki and myself). Thanks also to all those who sponsored us. There is still time for those who haven't. (Click here) We achieved a grand total of 120 laps (60 Kilometres).
	August 2011 Ian Sloan from DSBS played in the BGC Charity Golf Day in support of Alzheimer’s Australia WA. From left to right we have Ian Sloan, Glen Jakovich and John Rogers. Glen played in the group ahead of us and achieved the NAGA prize (thats twice in 4 months at charity golf events apparently). Ian and John scored a respectable 1 over par gross in the ambrose competition. One of our team didn't turn and the other was late. This shot was taken before the T off.

	June 2011 Ian was across in India to provide due diligence on an application development supplier. There is a lot to know when it comes to outsourcing work to India (not just to avoid drinking the water). The trip has provided a good insight into how best to understand the culture differences and foster good ways to work together.

	October 2010 Looks like a lot of our news lately has been about golf. DSBS attended the inaugural putt4dough IT golf charity event at Burswood. It was a great day out and hopefully something that will be repeated annually.
	September 2010 DSBS sponsored a golf team in the BGC Charity Golf Day in support of Alzheimer’s Australia WA. From left to right we have Duncan Reynolds-Pratt, Roger Parenzee, Ian Sloan, Frank Schaper (AAWA) and Mark Birkinshaw. It was a lovely day with the net score of net 58 again in the Ambrose competition. Didn't come close to winning though but Duncan and Mark both got closest to the pin.

	July, 2010 Alzheimer’s Australia launched their new client management system. DSBS provided business analysis, project and change management services.
	June, 2010 Mark Birkinshaw working with BHP Billiton as part of its’ Joint Venture Integration Team, assisting in the planning and preparation for regulatory approval and IT systems integration for their proposed merger with Rio Tinto of WA Iron Ore operations. Through DSBS, Mark is looking at the impact of the regulatory requirements of information ring fencing as well as the opportunity for synergies in systems, concentrating initially on the technical operational processes and systems used for product manufacturing and logistics.
	June 7, 2010 DSBS has put in a team to support Alzheimer’s Australia WA with their memory walk at Curtin University on September 19th 2010. Please support our efforts by sponsoring us. We aim to do 20 laps of the Oval which comes to 10 KMs.
	April, 2010 Alzheimer’s Australia have committed to the development and implementation of new web management systems, supporting infrastructure and the establishment of a shared services. DSBS are providing business analysis, contract negotiation and project management services. The projects will go live this calendar year.
	December, 2009 After a system and technical infrastructure assessment, and the development of an implementation plan, Hollywood Hospital Pharmacy upgraded their IT server infrastructure. DSBS managed the process end to end and now that a new technical platform is in place the next phase is to provide integrated online service delivery. This will enhance customer services and reduce cash flow inefficiencies.
	September 3, 2009 DSBS sponsored a golf team in the BGC Charity Golf Day in support of Alzheimer’s Australia WA. From left to right we have Roger Parenzee, Ian Sloan, Wayne Battersby, Mark Birkinshaw and Frank Schaper from AAWA. The team had a great day out and scored net 58 in the Ambrose competition but didn’t beat the BGC shark score of 52. Mark also won the longest drive.
